Student Travel Awards
A limited number of travel awards will
be available for undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students
who wish to attend the conference. Contact Dr. Jasmine Saros (jasmine.saros@umit.maine.edu) to apply for these funds. Include a resume,
proposed title of your talk or poster, and an indication of what funds
are available from your university for the conference.
International Travel Awards for
Scientists
ISSLR has a limited number of travel
grants available for participants attending from developing and economically
disadvantaged countries. To apply for a grant, send an abstract, curriculum
vitae, a brief (1 page maximum) statement of need, and a travel itinerary
detailing travel expenses. In addition, if a US entry visa is required,
please also include a copy of the visa or proof of application. Materials
should be sent by e-mail or fax to: Giovanni.Rompato@USU.edu (fax number: 001 435-797-2766). Applicants applying
before February 20th will be given priority, but applications will be
considered until funds are exhausted.
